Dr. Chris Schulten is originally from Louisville and is a 1985 graduate of St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Centre College, followed by his dental degree from the University of Louisville in 1993. He then served 7 years active duty in the United States Air Force where he also completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He pursued specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville and received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology in 2002. Dr. Schulten is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and the Kentucky Dental Association.

Dr. Schulten is a Louisville native, St. X grad and a true Cards fan! He has a beautiful wife Amie, 3 adorable kids and a yellow lab named Mindy. When not straightening teeth, Dr. Schulten enjoys traveling, U of L sports, running, swimming, coaching his kids’ sports teams and enjoying family time.
What’s your favorite part of being an Orthodontist? “I enjoy the process of creating healthy, beautiful smiles and watching patients’ self-esteem and confidence grow. Getting to know our patient families over the course of several years is very rewarding.”
Tiffany came to us from the great state of Michigan! Born and raised a true Detroit Tigers and U of M fan! She has a wonderful husband and three boys, ages 23, 16 and 12. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and spending as much time with her family as possible, including Abby, her sweet Golden Retriever. Tiffany has been in the orthodontic/dental field for over 23 years!

Kristi was born and raised in Colorado and returns as often as possible, enjoying time with family and the great outdoors! She and her husband have 2 wonderful teenage kids and a well-loved puppy Zoe! They enjoy traveling, great food and Kentucky Basketball. Kristi has worked in the dental/orthodontic field for over 10 years, 8 years here at Schulten Orthodontics.
What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “I really enjoy talking with and getting to know our patient families, we have lived in this community for over 20 years, so many of our patients we know outside of the office as well. I love the team I work with, we all enjoy spending time with each other both in and out of the office.”
Kyle has been married to the most kind, loving thoughtful man for 6 years! She has 2 wonderful children and 2 darling grandchildren, who are the biggest JOY of their lives. When not working, Kyle loves spending time with her husband and planning family get-togethers with her 5 siblings and nieces and nephews. They all get together once a month, laughing and cutting-up about old times. She also enjoys the 3 dogs and a cat she inherited when she married her husband, they rule the house! LOL.
What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “I have known Dr. Schulten for a long time and enjoy working with him. I love to laugh and cut up with my patients. I believe it really makes a difference in a child’s life to have not only a beautiful smile that creates a positive self-esteem, but healthy teeth that will last a lifetime. I commend the parents that go the distance to make sure that happens for their children, my hat’s off to you! Believe me… they will thank you one day.”
Mindy is a Louisville native, Go Cards! She is happily married with 3 wonderful kids and 2 adorable grandsons!! When she’s not at work, Mindy and her family enjoy spending time together at the lake, beach vacations, working out, sporting events and shopping. Her dog Bo gets in on the family time as much as possible! Mindy has been in the dental/orthodontic field 26 years!
What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “I love working at Schulten Ortho because it’s a family environment. I really enjoy the people I work with, it makes working fun! Dr. Schulten is caring and funny (and an excellent Orthodontist). We put our patients first and I feel great about the work we do.”
Mia came to us from the great state of Georgia! She enjoys spending as much time with her husband, daughter and step-son as possible. Movies, games, swimming, concerts and traveling are among their favorites! Percy, their chocolate Labradoodle, loves to be in the middle of it all! Mia has been in the orthodontic field for over 14 years!
